Franco Menichelli
Franco Menichelli holds a Hons. Degree from the University ‘La sapienza’ , Rome (1980). He started studying acupuncture in 1970. He has been a student and, later, a co-operator of Prof. Maurice Mussat.
Between 1988 and 1996, he was the dean of the “Superior School of Acupuncture’, based in Rome, Pisa and Milano.
Between 1986 and 1994, he managed the first public clinic of acupuncture, (Rome).
At the moment he is the standing president of the Italian Association of Acupuncture (A.I.A) and, also, the dean of S.A.E.T.: “School of Energetic and Traditional Acupuncture” (Rome).
Since 1998 he is a standing member of the ‘Permanent Forum for non-conventional medicines’ of the Medical Association of Rome and its province.
In 2008 he received the title of “Emeritus Cavalier of the Italian Republic”.

Antonio Alfidi
Antonio Alfidi holds a Hons. Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Italian University “La Sapienza”, Rome (1988), where he discussed his final dissertation with theme: “Experimental Acupuncture”.
He started to study Acupuncture in 1980 under the guidance of Prof. M. Mussat. He later became his collaborator and held a teaching post at the “Superior school of Acupuncture” (Rome) managed by his eminent teacher. Since 1997, he is a full-time lecturer at the “School of energetic and traditional Acupuncture “(Rome) .
Since 1997 is the vice-president of the Italian Association of Acupuncture and a standing member of the commission for non-conventional medicines of the Aquila Medical Association.
